The quality is astonishing, I was a bit surprised because I didn't expect as much for a low price, since it's an older model and the cheapest of all Wacom tablets (i think). Anyways, the pen is awesome, it slides on the plate almost like on real paper. The shortcuts on the top though are useless in my opinion - thought I think I'd need to wait some time to get used to them, but for now I'm sticking with the good-old-keyboard-shortcuts because I'm used to the left hand keyboard kungfu in Photoshop :).
The gadget will certainly come in handy at my design work (webpages) or just random sketches that I like to do when I'm bored. For example, here's a quick mockup of the Blogger's logo. Please don't laugh.. it's a work of art you see!
If anyone wants a tablet of their own, here is a newer version of mine on Amazon: Wacom Bamboo Tablet
Awesome, another thing to add to my gadgets wishlist lol +1
ReplyDeleteDo you mind sharing how much you paid for it?
ReplyDeleteFollowing btw +
Oh right, i forgot about that. It was about 50$ here and while I was in the store I was like: "must have!". I just checked Amazon though and it seems that you can get a newer Bamboo model for 42$ and up, which is also cool if you can get it without the shipping costs :)
ReplyDeleteSome of my favorite comic writers use this tablet. Is that what you intend to do with it?
ReplyDeleteYou know, the logo actually looks good. :)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of getting a tablet myself for the next semester.
Anyhow, following and supporting! :)
That is one sweet piece of tech :)
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to get one of these to draw on the computer, but then I remember I'm terrible at drawing lol
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking about buying one of these.
ReplyDeletesure the shortcuts will become useful, you just need some time, you are pretty good with it =)
